Your family's information
Privacy
Last updated 8 October 2026. This describes what Mo's Soccer Academy actually collects and does. If anything here is unclear, ask us.
What we collect
From you, when you register:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- For each child: their name, date of birth if you give it, allergies, any medical notes you choose to share, and an emergency contact.
- Which sessions you booked, when, and what you paid.
- Which link, QR code or website brought you to the site (for example a Google search or our Instagram page) — only the name of the site, never what you searched for.
- If Meta's cookie is in your browser when you book, the anonymous ID it holds, kept with your order (see Facebook and Instagram ads, below).
We collect this information from you, never from your child. Children do not have accounts here and cannot sign in.
Card details
We never see them. Payments are handled by Stripe, on Stripe's own pages. Your card number does not pass through our systems and we do not store it.
Why we hold it
- To run the sessions your child is registered for.
- To keep coaches informed about allergies and emergency contacts. This is the reason we ask, and it is why those fields are required.
- To take payment and keep the financial records a business has to keep.
- To email you about sessions you have booked — confirmations, receipts, reminders and changes. We do not send marketing email.
Who else sees it
Coaches see the roster for sessions they run, including allergies and emergency contacts. Beyond that: our hosting provider, our database provider, Stripe for payments, and our email provider — each only as much as they need to do their job.
We do not sell your information or rent it, and we never give an advertiser your name, your contact details or anything about your child.
Facebook and Instagram ads
We use the Meta Pixel (Meta runs Facebook and Instagram) so we can tell whether our ads work and show them to families who are likely to be interested. On our public pages it tells Meta which page was viewed and a few things done there: adding a camp to the cart (the camp and how many places), starting to pay, sending a message, and tapping to call, text, email or get directions (only that you tapped, not the number or address). When a booking is completed it tells Meta the amount. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account if you are signed in to one, and uses cookies to do it.
When a booking is paid — including by Venmo, check or cash — our own system also confirms it to Meta: that a purchase happened, the amount, and the anonymous ID Meta's cookie gave your browser. That way a booking is still counted if your browser had closed.
- We never send Meta your name, email address, phone number or anything about your child — not which camp, not their age group, not how many children.
- It does not run on your account page or anywhere your child's details are shown.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it does not run at all. You can also manage how Meta uses this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or block cookies in your browser.
Google Analytics and Google ads
We use Google Analytics to count visits to our public pages and to tell whether our Google ads work. It uses cookies. On our public pages it tells Google which page was viewed, and when a booking is completed it tells Google the amount.
- We never send Google your name, email address, phone number or anything about your child.
- It does not run on the sign-in page, the registration form, your cart, your account page or anywhere your child's details are shown — the amount of a completed booking is the one thing sent from there.
- We have switched off Google's ad personalization for our site, so visiting us does not put you on an advertising list.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it does not run at all. You can also use Google's opt-out add-on.
How we see what works on the site
We want to know which pages help families and where people get stuck, so we can make the site easier to use. Two tools help with that.
- Microsoft Clarity shows us how visitors move around our public pages — how far they scroll and what they tap or click — as recordings and heatmaps. It uses cookies to do this. Microsoft handles this information for us and may also use it for its own advertising and security work; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Our hosting provider, Vercel, counts page views. It uses no cookies and does not identify anyone.
- Nothing you type is recorded. On pages about your family the words are hidden from recordings as well; only our general pages (the home page, camps, about us and the like), which show the same thing to everyone, can be read.
- Recordings do not run on the sign-in page, the registration form, your cart, your account page or anywhere your child's details are shown.
- We never tell either tool your name, email address or anything about your child. If you are signed in, a recording is labeled with your account number, so that we can help if something went wrong for you.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, recordings do not run at all.
How long we keep it
Registration and payment records are kept for as long as we are required to keep financial records. You can ask us to delete everything else at any time.
What you can ask for
Any of the following, by emailing info@mosocceracademy.org:
- A copy of what we hold about your family.
- A correction to anything wrong.
- Deletion of your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- To stop receiving anything other than messages about sessions you have booked.
You can also see and edit most of it yourself on your account page.
Photography
Each child's details include a photo question. Choose No and we will keep them out of photographs — you can change it any time on your account page.
